Trykk - Arktisk Fjell Foto - Svalbard Landskap / Polar Natt
Taken on Spitsbergen, Svalbard in October 2012. This was taken at the beginning of the Polar Night during the full moon. The subject is Adventfjorden, which is the fjord that the settlement of Longyearbyen is built next to.
As the moon rose just over the mountain it perfectly opposed the placement of the rock in the foreground of the frame, creating a composition I am very happy with. I took this at the end of October with the very last remaining light from the sun far below the horizon, just before 2 months of total darkness took hold.
Taken with a Canon 5dMkII and 24-105 F4 L lens.
Printed with Epson Ultrachrome HDR inks on Epson premium luster paper on an Epson Stylus Pro 4900 primter. Research carried out by Epson suggest this combination of ink and paper is lightfast for 64 years when prints are stored properly under glass.
Obviously the print will not be watermarked and it will be signed by me before it is shipped.
