Taken on Spitsbergen, Svalbard in October 2011. The mountain is known as Hjortfjellet and it stands opposite the town of Longyearbyen.

Once or maybe twice a year everything falls into place and the mountain can be photographed with fresh snow and beautiful warm Autumn light. I was fortunately able to be in the right place at the right time to get the shot.

Taken with a Canon 5dMkII and 100-400 F4.5-5.6 L lens.

Printed with Epson Ultrachrome HDR inks on Epson premium luster paper on an Epson Stylus Pro 4900 primter. Research carried out by Epson suggest this combination of ink and paper is lightfast for 64 years when prints are stored properly under glass.

Obviously the print will not be watermarked and it will be signed by me before it is shipped.

The sizes below are the ones that I commonly make. If you would like a different size please contact me. Aspect ratio of the image is 3:2. The size offered for sale in this listing is 40.0 x 26.7 cm.

28.7 x 19.1 cm / 11.3 x 7.5 in (0.5cm border longest edge on A4 size paper)

40.0 x 26.7 cm / 15.7 x 10.5 in (1cm border longest edge on A3 size paper)

57.4 x 38.3 cm / 22.6 x 15.1 in (1cm border longest edge on A2 size paper)
